Fishawy's

This weekend Muslims celebrate Eid, the feast at the end of Ramadan. We joined the festivities by going to Islamic Cairo and lounging in the city's oldest and most famous ahwa (coffeehouse), Fishawy's. In addition to the inside, which looked fake it was so authentically old, they had taken over the entire alley in which the ahwa was located. That's where we sat.
